Swami Shivananda Yogjyoti Sewa Kendra is dedicated to the public and youths of Dibrugarh with the vision of making a system of holistic living and also value-added education. This center is a part of Indian Yoga Culture & Yoga Therapy Center which is situated on the downhill of Nilachal range—the famous Kamrup Kamakhya Temple. Indian Yoga Culture & Yoga Therapy Center is located centrally in Railway city Mailgaon at Central Gotanagar infront of the Central Railway Hospital.

Under the premises of D.H.S.K. college auditorium, Dibrugarh this institute was inaugurated on 6th December 2010 and names as Purbanchal Yoga Mahavidyalaya. Further on 12th December 2013 at Dibrugarh Amolapatty Natya Mandir under the supervision of FOUNDER President Yogacharya Subhasish ji ,the institute was finally named as Swami Shivananda Yogjyoti Sewa Kendra. The institution is an non-political,non-profit,non-sectarian and spiritually oriented organization as promoted by Indian Yoga Culture & Yoga Therapy Center,Guwahati and also Affiliated to Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Science & Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University, Assam.

Yoga training, Naturopathy and treatment through yoga are being imparted at the center and this facility is also extended up to door to door basis in case of needs.

AIM & OBJECTIVES

OUR CENTER AIMS TO CREATE AWARENESS AMONG ALL THE SECTIONS OF THE SOCIETY BY CONDUCTING PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT CAMPS,BLOOD DONATION CAMPS,FREE HEALTH CHECK UP,OPD ,SEMINARS ON YOUTH WELFARENESS,WOMEN EMPOERMENTS FOR HOLISTIC HEALTH,TIME MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS,PHYSICAL HANDICAPPED CAMPS,  RURAL ENCOURAGEMENT EVENT, SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT EVENTS AND MANY MORE.

THE MAIN AIM OF THIS CENTER IS TO PROCURE EDUCATED YOUTH BY IMPARTING YOGA TRAININGS SCIENTIFICALLY TO CREATE JOB POTENTIALITY IN THE COUNTRY FOR DEVELOPING HOLISTIC HEALTH.
